Pilates is a popular mind and body exercise programme that improves posture, core strength, balance and flexibility.
At ARC Physio, our highly trained pilates instructors are also qualified physiotherapists. So whether you’re looking to recover from specific injury or generally strengthen your physique, we’ll teach you how to move your body safely in an effortless, efficient, and controlled way.
Our classes are deliberately small so we can tailor them to your specific needs and reassure you along the way that you’re getting it right.
We also offer one-to-one sessions for the ultimate tailored pilates experience.
Our instructors are Angela Hardie and Suzie Matty, who have trained with the world-leading pilates qualification body, Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). Angela teaches mat and equipment pilates, and Suzie leads 1-1 and group mat classes.
We recommend a 30 minute one-to-one private session prior to attending a class so we can teach you the basic principles, get an understanding about what you want to achieve from pilates and correct any bad habits that may have set in. This costs £30 and will enable you to benefit as much as possible from class.
